The Team section in Ambrook lets you bring other people into your organization — employees, co-owners, managers, or outside professionals like accountants. Each person gets a role that controls what they can see and do in your account.
Only Admins can send team invites. If you don't see the Invite button, check with the Admin on your account.
How to invite someone to your team
Go to Settings in the left navigation.
Select Team.
Click Invite.
Enter the person's name and email address.
Select a role for them (see the role descriptions below).
Click Send invite.
The person will receive an email invitation. Once they accept, they'll be able to log in and access your organization based on their assigned role.
Choosing the right role
Ambrook has four roles for team members. Choose based on what level of access each person needs:
Role | Best for | What they can do |
Admin | Co-owners, trusted operators | Full access to all tabs and settings, including sending invites and managing the team. Cannot apply for a Wallet (Primary Admin only). |
Accountant | CPAs, bookkeepers, tax professionals | Full read and edit access to the Ledger, Invoices, Analytics, Reports, and Settings. Cannot send team invites, move money, or issue cards. |
Manager | Farm managers, supervisors | Can view and edit most of the Ledger, Analytics, Invoices, and Funding. Cannot send team invites, access account balances, manage categories, or move money. |
Staff | Employees, farm workers | Can upload receipts and tag their own transactions. Can also view invoices, if desired. Cannot view the full Ledger or most Reports. Limited Settings access. |
For a full breakdown of every permission by role, see About roles and permissions.
Managing your team
From Settings → Team, Admins can:
View all current team members and their roles
Change a team member's role at any time
Remove a team member from the organization
Re-send invitations that are still pending acceptance
To remove a team member: click the three dots next to the person's name and select Revoke Invitation.
To re-send an email invitation: click the three dots next to the person's name and select Resend Invitation.
Changing the Primary Admin
Every Ambrook organization has one Primary Admin. This role is the only one that can apply for a Wallet. Unlike other roles, the Primary Admin cannot be changed directly in the app — contact support and the team will make the switch on your behalf.
