How to add, update, and manage the bank account a business on Ambrook uses to pay you by direct deposit.

Written by Tiffany Yue

This article is for vendors who received a request for bank details from a business that uses Ambrook. You don't need an Ambrook account to share your details.

Receiving a request

When a business you work with wants to pay you by ACH, they can send you a request through Ambrook. It arrives by email and includes a secure link to add your bank details.

  • The business may also send you the link by text or another message.

  • The request comes from the business you work with. Ambrook sends the email on their behalf.

Tip: Can't find the email? Check your spam or junk folder and mark it as "Not Spam."

Signing in

  1. Click the link in the email or message.

  2. Confirm your email address.

  3. Ambrook emails you a sign-in link. The subject reads "Sign in to share your payment details with" the business's name.

  4. Click Sign In in that email.

If you open the sign-in link on a different device, you'll be asked to confirm your email again.

Adding your bank account

  1. Choose your account type.

  2. Enter your routing number and account number.

  3. Enter the account holder name.

  4. Optional: give the account a name, like "Business checking."

  5. Click Review and check your details. Click Change to fix anything.

  6. Submit your bank account

You'll see a confirmation that the business can now pay you by direct deposit.

Managing your saved accounts

After you add an account, it appears in your Saved Bank Accounts list.

  • Set a default. If you save more than one account, open the ⋮ menu on an account and choose Set as default. The business pays your default account.

  • Edit an account. Click View Details, then Change next to the detail you want to update. Your changes save automatically.

  • Remove an account. Open the ⋮ menu and choose Remove account. If you remove your default, you'll choose which account the business should pay instead.

Changes apply only to the business that sent you the link.

Further protecting your account

You can add an additional layer of security by enabling SMS verification to the vendor portal. After you provide your phone number during setup, each time you access the vendor portal, you'll receive and need to enter a one-time password.
