Ambrook Pay helps you get paid faster through fast (1-2 hours), free, business payments between Ambrook accounts. With Ambrook Pay, you can receive payments and pay bills from customers and vendors in the Ambrook network for fast, free payments. And with Ambrook Pay, invoices you are sent via Ambrook can be added to your bills list in one click.
Prerequisites
In order to pay bills with Ambrook Pay, you must:
Have Ambrook Wallet and Bill Pay set up
Have a bill from a vendor that is on Ambrook
In order to receive Ambrook Pay payments, you must:
Have Ambrook Wallet and Invoices set up
Have a customer that is on Ambrook
Paying with Ambrook Pay
Adding Bills to Ambrook
Any bill for a vendor on Ambrook is eligible for Ambrook Pay. To create an Ambrook Pay-eligible bill, you can:
Create a bill in one click by clicking “Pay Online” in the email from your vendor’s Ambrook account (invoices@ambrook.com). When you do, the invoice will be automatically added to your bills list and you will be able to pay via Ambrook Pay.
Create a bill manually and select your vendor. Ambrook Pay-eligible vendors are marked with an Ambrook icon.
Paying with Ambrook Pay
For eligible vendors, the bill pay dialog will now include a new “Ambrook Pay” payment method option.
During our beta period, Ambrook Pay payments take approximately 1-2 hours to be processed end-to-end, 24/7, including on weekends and bank holidays.
If you choose “Deposit then pay”, you can expect 1-2 business days to process the deposit from your external bank account and then 1-2 hours for the Ambrook Pay payment to settle.
If you choose “Just in time,” the payment will be made on the day you choose.
Receiving Payments via Ambrook Pay
When sending invoices to your customers that are Ambrook customers, they will automatically be given the option to pay directly into your Wallet with Ambrook Pay, no additional setup is required.
You can view Ambrook Pay payments in the Wallet tab, just like any other transaction.
Troubleshooting
If you are not logged into Ambrook on the device you click “Pay Online” on, you will be redirected to the standard payment portal experience, powered by Stripe. Paying via the Stripe portal does not create a bill in your bills list.
If you don’t see Ambrook Pay on your account and want to set it up, contact support to get this feature enabled on your account.
