To add an extra layer of security to protect your account from malicious activity, Ambrook supports 2-step verification (sometimes called two-factor authentication) via SMS text messages. Even if your password gets stolen, your Ambrook data will stay safe. After setting up 2-step verification, each time you log in to Ambrook we’ll send a confirmation code to the configured phone number to confirm your identity.

Enable 2-Step Verification

In the Profile section of your Ambrook settings, click the option for 2-Step Verification. After confirming your identity by entering your login credentials, enter a phone number that can receive text messages.

Once you enter your phone number, in order to finish the setup process we’ll send you a code and ask you to enter it. After confirmation, your account will be protected from unwanted access.

This setting only applies to your user account, so other team members will still be able to log in as usual, and can set up 2-step verification with their own phone numbers.

Verify Your Identity

When you sign in to Ambrook on a new device or web browser, we’ll ask you to verify your identity with the phone number you configured above. After logging in with your configured Google account or password, we’ll send a code to your phone and you’ll be blocked from finishing your log in until you enter that code on this screen.
