Did you know that you can deposit checks directly to your Ambrook Wallet, at no additional cost?


Benefits of Mobile Deposit

  1. Fund your Wallet without even thinking about it. An empty Wallet prevents you from using your Ambrook cards and bill pay features. Rather than transferring funds ahead of time, you can skip that step and deposit the checks that needed your attention in the first place.

  2. Save time spent visiting the bank. Instead of making the drive into town, or waiting in line, you can manage your check income digitally. Transfers between your Wallet and your external bank account remain easy and free.

  3. Get your bookkeeping done as soon as the check is in hand. No more asking yourself “What was that for?” when you see “DEPOSIT 1234” show up in your Ledger. Instead, tag the income transaction while the check is still in your hands.

  4. Store photos of the checks in Ambrook. If you ever need to look back at the details, check images are saved as attachments in the resulting income transactions. Keep your records in the same place as the rest of your books.


Instructions for Using Mobile Deposit

  1. Go to the Wallet tab on your Ambrook app, and select the Deposit Check button.

  2. Follow the instructions to take photos of the front and back of the check and confirm details such as amount and memo.

  3. You will be brought to a screen where you’re prompted to tag the income like any other transaction on your Ledger.

  4. The funds will be available in your Wallet within 4 business days, depending on your bank. You can view the expected date by clicking on the income transaction and scrolling down to the Timeline section.
