After creating a check, you can still edit certain details. To make changes, click on the check, hover over the field you’d like to update, and click the pencil icon.
You can edit the following fields:
Vendor or Customer
From account (for Outstanding Checks)
Date
Check memo
Check number
Internal note
Tags
The following fields cannot be edited after a check is created:
Account
Amount
If you need to change the amount or convert an undeposited check to an outstanding check (or vice versa), you’ll need to void the original check and create a new one.
To void a check:
Click on the check
Click the three dots in the top-right corner
Select Void Check
