Understanding your Ambrook Tax & Advisory subscription

Ambrook Tax & Advisory brings tax strategy, entity planning, and long-term financial modeling directly into your Ambrook account.

Accessing Ambrook Tax & Advisory

Once your subscription is active, go to Settings → Tax & Advisory. Documents, messages, and deliverables from your advisor all stay in one place under that tab.

Tip: If you're having trouble accessing the Tax & Advisory tab, try using a desktop browser — mobile access may be limited

What's Included

Ambrook Tax & Advisory is offered in three packages. You can purchase them individually or bundle them together and save $250.

  • Advisory — $375/quarter. Ongoing strategic tax and financial planning for you, your family and your businesses.

  • Personal Tax Filing — $1,000/year. Complete tax preparation for you and your family, handled by licensed advisors.

  • Business Tax Filing — $2,000/year. Complete tax preparation for you and your family, handled by licensed advisors.

You’ll meet 1:1 with an experienced tax and financial specialist who understands how producers operate and can show how a proactive approach to taxes and financial planning can support your operation and long-term goals.

How Billing Works

Your Ambrook Tax & Advisory subscription is billed separately from your Ambrook plan. Both subscriptions are charged to the card you have on file in Ambrook.*

Updating Your Payment Method

To change the card used for both of your subscriptions:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Subscriptions

  3. Click Add Card

  4. Click the 3 dots next to the new card

  5. Select Make default

*Note: Your Tax & Advisory subscription and Ambrook subscription can use different payment methods. First, add your additional payment method in Settings Subscription. Then let our support team know which card you'd like charged for each by emailing support@ambrook.com.

Canceling Your Subscription

To cancel your Tax & Advisory subscription, reach out to our support team at support@ambrook.com and we'll take care of it for you.

Q: Do I need my books caught up before using Ambrook Tax & Advisory?

A: Yes, Ambrook Tax works best when your books are already in good shape. If you need help getting current, our Full Service plan offers hands-on bookkeeping support to get you there first.

Q: What if my tax situation is complex?

A: If your tax situation is complex — Schedule J elections, crop insurance deferrals, multi-entity structures, and similar advanced needs — we'll connect you with a Certified Advisor who specializes in ag tax. We'll assess fit together on your intro call.

Q: Can I get just filing, or just advisory

A: Yes. You can purchase either service separately, or bundle them together and save $250.

Q: How do your advisors work inside Ambrook?

A: Your advisor accesses your books directly in Ambrook—no exports or file sharing needed. Documents, messages, and deliverables all stay in one place under the Taxes tab.

Q: What's the difference between Ambrook Tax and working with a Certified Advisor?
A: Ambrook Tax is best for straightforward situations where you want proactive planning and seamless filing. Certified Advisors are independent CPAs with deep ag specialization—ideal for complex scenarios. Not sure? We'll help you decide on the intro call.

Q: Is there a contract or commitment?

A: Services are billed annually. There's no long-term contract, if Ambrook Tax isn't the right fit after a year, you're free to explore other options.

Q: What if I already have an accountant?

A: Many customers keep their existing accountant for certain tasks and use Ambrook Tax for strategic advisory. On your intro call, we can discuss how the services might complement each other.
