While the paperwork burden varies from program to program, it is unfortunately an unavoidable part of pretty much every single funding opportunity. We know that excessive paperwork can prevent someone from applying to a program for which they would otherwise be eligible, so we tend to give special attention to programs with shorter applications in our funding library.

The good news is that many programs require similar documentation. Therefore, once you have applied for single program, you likely have the necessary documentation gathered to make subsequent applications easier. Even better, federal agencies like the NRCS and FSA keep your documentation on file, so applying to your second program with one of those agencies could go much faster than your first.
